First off I want to point out that I’ve got that heart business down. However, I couldn’t have chosen the worst time to tackle this next challenge of evolving Pancham into Pangoro. Granted, I already have enough candy to do it (50 in total). But that’s not the problem.

In order to evolve Pancham you have to “adventure” with your buddy. This particular buddy requires that you catch 32 dark-type Pokémon. Mind you, I have to do this while I have Pancham on the screen. That’s not too much of a problem. The issue is this. The holidays. Currently, with Christmas a few weeks away all of the catch options have been primarily ice, water, or holiday themed. No dark type.

Couple that together with the New Year being right on top of that… I don’t see any dark-type really being available for a quick evolution any time soon.

Oh well.

I am going to give it a go regardless. Just catch everything and hope for the best. If it takes a little longer to happen, oh well. That’s all the much sooner he gets to best buddy level while I wait on the evolution to take place.

Now, that doesn’t mean I haven’t caught any dark types. So, there is hope. All be it little for right now.
