Well, I’ve finally gotten a face tattoo. The word remember to me is a reference to the fourth commandment.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. – Exodus 20:8-11

Of all ten commandments, the fourth starts with the word remember meaning that this command was already instituted at creation. The fourth commandment also tells us which God we are worshiping. The creator of all things. By observing the fourth commandment we tell the world which god of gods we belong to.
And for those of you that think we aren’t still held up by the law, there are plenty of New Testament passages that say otherwise. I could write for days, but here are just two.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:18
PS: I also tattooed both of my ears. You can see my left ear in the photo.
